Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. The free plan covers 3 domains with no time limit.
Which domains can you monitor?
Most generic and country domains - .com, .net, .org, .io, .pl, .de, .co.uk and many more. A few registries, such as .eu, don't publish expiry dates; for those we still track nameserver and registrar changes.
How often do you check?
Expiry data is checked once a day on every plan: registries change it rarely and limit how often they can be queried. DNS and SSL checks, once launched, run more often on higher plans.
What happens when something changes?
You get an email right away, and the change appears in the domain's history with its old and new values.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, at any time. While card payments are on the way, paid plans are set up and changed by email at support@gateway-whois.com.
Do I have to change anything in my DNS?
No. We only read public registry data, so there is nothing to install or verify - just add the domain names.
